I spend most of my not-so-leisurely days working on my blog Surviving Traumatic Brain Injury, which is growing daily. It's closing in on 100,000 hits. (Of course, eventually it will be much higher.)
I am a radio host on Brain Injury Radio Network (BIRN). My show is called Another Fork in the Road, and it airs on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month at 5:30 pm Pacific Time. The show is about anything pertaining to brain injury.
On the 3rd Sunday of each month, I host a guest, and I focus on my guest's brain injury or caregiving status or a book he or she has written. The options are many.
You can listen to my archived shows at On the Air Show Menu on my blog Surviving Traumatic Brain Injury.
I published my first article about brain injury in June 2014. It's called, Prisoner Without Bars – Living with a Traumatic Brain Injury. It's about my husband, David, pictured below, who had a brain injury in January of 2005. You can read the article in an online journal, Disabled Magazine.
Since then, I have been writing and publishing a lot of articles about brain injury. There is a page dedicated to my articles.
