Koda Jingle Moves In

Picture
aka: Koda Bean

Koda Jingle came to stay one warm December day.  (Well, we do live in Arizona.)

Koda Jingle is our new dream pup. He made himself at home right away and it feels like he has been with us forever. He loves his outdoor jaunts with me, and is learning how to walk by my side. Koda can sit, stay, and come on command, (most of the time.) He does have a stubborn streak and sometimes participates in sit-ins. FUN!

Koda thinks bath time is fun. Actually, so do I.

Koda is hanging out in his Paw-Paw Palace. He invites you to stop by anytime. (Please bring a treat.)

Koda loves to roughhouse with David when I go out. (Boys will be boys!)
He loves to nap in my arms each afternoon. He is such a cuddle bug.

Koda is in his sweet spot. He loves to cuddle and nap in my arms. What a precious time!

Last week my daughter, Kiersten, came to visit and Koda remembered her. They met the day I found Koda at HARTT Rescue. It was obvious that they have a strong bond. Kiersten introduced Koda to the dog park. He loved it. He ran and played with the other pups with unleashed abandon and freedom. It was heart-melting to watch him enjoy himself so much.

That's a snippet of the first three months of Koda's life with David and me. We love this little furball of energy.

I am the author of Prisoners without Bars: A Caregiver's Tale. It's the true story of how my husband almost left me--three times.
He had three brain surgeries in less than two weeks. Those are pretty drastic measures, don't you think? I told him if he didn't come back to me, I would never forgive him. And guess what? It worked. He did!
